This morning, much to my delight, I discovered a letter in my mailbox, which included two free double passes to see Goosebumps at my local cinema, also included was a notification that I’d won a prize pack, consisting of flashing shoelaces, bouncing putty, and other such merchandise.
Now, as; in the last 12 month, I’ve also been lucky enough to win; a family pass to Perth Zoo and to a Disney On Ice spectacular, I’m not really certain; what the message from Spirit is. Are they saying; grow-up, or re-discover the joy in life?
I’m veering towards; revive my ‘Joy’, and as in 2015, I was also, very kindly gifted with tickets to a Sam Smith concert, that’s my story & my sticking to it……not saying, I don’t have the odd childish moment, but don’t we all?
2015 for me, was a difficult year, although, I did connect with some incredible people online, yourself included, but it was also a growth year, during which I learn a lot, and frequently spouted my affirmations – I phrased it that way, because; there were times my affirmations; became a little panicked, but hey, I survived! Always; an important and worthy goal!
I have some specific mantras that I use on a regular basis, and I find they generally work within days. They run the gamut, from health to money issues, and I try to recite them when on the rowing machine at the gym – what else can you do, when you’re sat rowing towards a busy road, just outside a window…..sweeping meadows it’s not.
An old favourite, you might want to borrow is;
I attract prosperity, abundance, financial security, and unexpected money into my life each day.
But, back to the ‘Joy’ issue, when was the last time you felt such an emotion in your life? Or, has it been such a long time that you’re not really sure what brings you ‘Joy’ anymore?
I’m not talking happiness, or even contentment because we can feel either on a daily basis whether it be; happiness at work or contentment to be sat in front of the TV with a cuppa.
I mean real soul-deep joy. The type of joy engendered by the birth-of-a-child, or getting the all-clear from a; scary health issue, and dare I say it; money appearing just when you need it drastically.
You may not think that; these 3 examples should be grouped together, but real ‘Joy’ is subjective to each and every person, on earth.
To a thirsty child in Africa, dirty water, may bring joyful cries, to a homeless person, one night in a shelter, could touch their heart. And, to a rescued animal, first-cuddles from a loving human may be the greatest thing since Smackos (dog treats) were invented.
So, take 5 minutes today, review your life, and think about the last time you felt, heart-wrenching ‘Joy’, and I want you to revel in the sensations that appear with the memory, and hold on to them, so that you can bring them to mind, whenever you’re in a dark moment
As children, I’m sure most of us were told by our parents; it’s better to give than receive, but has this just taken away our ability to manifest, thereby amplifying our belief in scarcity?
Do we second-guess our own capacity to donate to charity, or give our last penny to a homeless man, and do we; worry about spending our hard-earned money on something we truly desire?
On a recent trip to Perth city library, I walked along a busy mall, and noticed a beggar sat on the street ahead of me, and being aware that I only had a few dollars in my purse – I hadn’t planned on shopping – I immediately began to consciously calculate the money I had, and deliberated over giving this poor unfortunate some of my meagre coin.
Almost straight-away, I heard someone whisper “remember the law of threefold-return”, and without thinking anymore, I handed this man some of my precious gold coins……in return, he gave me a beaming smile, and a grateful ‘thank you’.
Thinking no more about it, I got on with my day!
Three hours later; I received a phone call from a local retail outlet advising I had won a family pass to the Perth Zoo. It was a very welcome prize, as I love to spend time amongst animals, and…….it was worth a lot more, than the few dollars I’d given to the homeless gentleman.
So…next time you think about giving; do it happily because not only are you helping someone less fortunate than yourself, you may even receive something incredible in return. Perhaps it won’t be anything tangible, but bringing a smile to the recipient’s face, is reward enough.
When we realize the power within ourselves to bring great people and blessings into our lives through the law of attraction we begin a journey towards realizing our full potential and bringing abut an incredible life. Our lives are a magnet with which we attract the very things into our lives that we focus upon. As we harness control of our thoughts and empower ourselves with the ability to focus on that which we desire we will be drawn like a magnet towards those desires.
Some will question immediately these statements without giving time to ponder the realities that are around them in regards to the fulfillment of this very analysis. Unfortunately many of our lives are filled with negative thoughts, people and energy. We focus upon that which we do not have instead of that which we do. We focus on problems instead of blessings. We spend our conversations…

When you stop to think about life, there is one fundamental truth that can be found in every human being irrespective of our station in life or our spirituality, and that is……….we ‘all’ want something!
I’m not necessarily talking about something tangible that can be held in our hands. In fact, sometimes all that may be required is a little peace of mind for; either ourselves, or another, or even the world at large, although primarily, what most of us require is ‘things’. Whether, it’s more money, more love, more travel, more success, more freedom, more control, our shopping list is endless. Yet we don’t stop to think that by adding; a little more positivity, or gratitude to our mindset we can actually bring what we want to fruition, and it doesn’t matter if it has physicality, or not.
We spend days, wishing and hoping for ‘stuff’ believing; that we have to work our fingers to the bone, in jobs that we don’t particularly enjoy, to afford our heart’s desire. We don’t even consider that there may be subliminal techniques we can use, that will attract more material possessions, and emotional abundance into your lives.
Mention affirmations, or manifestations, and most people will have heard of them, even if some deem them to be a little airy-fairy, and the Law of Attraction is virtually a part of the English language, so much has been written about it, but how many actually know; there are rules to working with affirmations, or that when used wrongly, manifestations can rebound, especially if our intent is to harm another.
And, were you aware; that the LOA (Law of Attraction) does not differentiate between, good, bad or indifferent, and that what you send out to the Universe will come back to you. Therefore, it’s important to watch your thoughts, to ensure that negative wording doesn’t get in the way of your request.
Did you know; that the LOA (Law of Attraction) doesn’t work to our timing but spirits’, (or, the cosmos if you prefer) and that; the timing has to be ‘just right’ in their eyes? And, had you been told, that this law never takes a break? It works all hours of the day and night, not just during the few seconds or minutes that you’re concentrating on it.
Had it even crossed your mind; that you have to use the correct tense when repeating your affirmations? Chant “When I’m rich” instead of “I am rich”, and your goal will always be in the future, and something you continue to strive for.
To top it off…..whatever you request, may not turn up in the manner you wish, so you have to ‘expect the unexpected’ when attempting to manifest. Not forgetting, that no matter what method you use to try to attain your objective, it’s necessary to anticipate gratitude otherwise you’re only pushing your dreams further into the future.
So, yes, our unconscious mind is an incredible tool, and the universe is always on our side, but, like most things, there are rules to be followed, but is it really a hardship, when a few simple regulations could culminate in; you achieving all your hopes and dreams?
